Our local start-ups continue to impress on the international stage, and this year UNISTELLAR and Biomitech proudly walked away with a CES Innovation Award, propelling their visibility and credibility to a global level. 🚀
Two flagship start-ups in search of innovation
🔭 UNISTELLAR, in partnership with Nikon, is revolutionising observation with its ENVISION augmented reality binoculars. This unique immersive experience is opening up a new era in astronomy and visual exploration.
🌱 The Aix-based start-up Biomitech is tackling air pollution with its microalgae bioreactors and flagship product BioUrban, capable of converting pollutants into oxygen. It’s a solution for the future of our cities!
Regional excellence out in force at CES
But innovation doesn’t stop there! Two other start-ups from the South Region – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur delegation, supported by risingSUD, also shone at this key event:
Be Energy, based at the Arbois Environmental Technology Park, is an expert in the reconditioning of batteries, oils and engines for more sustainable mobility.
OPTIPUS PV, a CNRS spin-off based at the Luminy Technology Park, is optimising the yield of solar panels with its innovative “Energy Skin” technology.
Aix-Marseille-Provence is thus confirming its status as a land of innovation and forward-looking technologies! And this dynamic continues to gain ground, propelling our region to the forefront of the international scene. 👏
