How does our AI work?

Our aim is to answer any questions you may have about what’s happening in the Aix-Marseille region.

To achieve this, we have set up a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, tailor-made for our customers.

  • generative means that the answers are written by the AI for each request (it’s not a bot with pre-defined answers)
  • the majority of information is found on the Internet (the quantity of information is therefore immense, but its accuracy cannot be guaranteed)
  • our AI is also nourished by documents and studies
  • a special focus on sources from our region
artificial intelligence is in training: it’s constantly improving as your discussion progresses!

Transition players

Act & Inspire

One Provence’s aim is to reveal and network the actors of transitions, who are taking concrete action on major economic, social and environmental transitions. Through their respective commitments, federated by their attachment to the Aix Marseille Provence region, they “collectively” represent a renewed image that asserts its past, reveals its present and projects itself into the future.

They make Aix-Marseille Provence shine

Alex Caizergues

Alex Caizergues

Alex Caizergues

Co-founder - Managing Director / Syroco

Alex Caizergues is a French kitesurfer, a 4-time kitesurfing speed champion, the first man to break the 100 km/h barrier on the water and the holder of 6 world speed records. He still holds the world kitesurfing speed record of 107.3 km/h set in 2017 in southern France (Salin-de-Giraud 13).

In 2019, Alex co-founded Syroco, a climate tech startup that supports the energy transition in maritime transport. It provides fleet operators with a solution for assessing and improving the efficiency and impact of their vessels. Syroco's software platform creates a digital twin of each ship using physical modelling, data and artificial intelligence. Based on the most accurate weather and ocean information, the platform uses multi-objective weather routing to optimise the route and provide the crew with real-time optimisation of the journey, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.

On the front line when it comes to financing, relations with institutions and production, Béatrice sets the course and charts the way forward.

She is committed to sustainable development, social responsibility ("Marsatac Durable et Solidaire" policy for social responsibility in organisations) and gender equality (special creation of the Safer scheme for French festivals – a scheme to prevent and combat sexist and sexual violence).

Managing Director - Exhibition curator

Born in 1956, Bruno Ely is head curator of local heritage and Director of the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence, his home town, which he knows well and to which he is particularly attached. In January 2008, he was appointed Director of the Musée Granet, which had been his career goal. He has curated numerous exhibitions (more than 150 in his 45-year career), including those devoted to Cézanne (in collaboration with Denis Coutagne, his predecessor at the Musée Granet). These events have been milestones in the cultural history of Aix, with record attendance figures for 'Cézanne en Provence' (450,000 visitors) and 'Picasso Cézanne' (371,000). To his credit, he created an extension to the museum in the former Chapel of the Penitents, Granet XXème, to house the remarkable collection of Swiss artist Jean Planque.

Among his many activities, his attention to the public is a daily priority, so that he can offer the best possible welcome to all those who come to the museum (for example, by obtaining the Disabled Tourism Label) and reach out to other visitors. His career has been marked by fruitful encounters in primary and secondary schools, universities, community centres, hospitals and prisons.
