I’m a land of exchange, culture and cross-fertilisation.
The people who live here are as joyful and fulfilled
as they are sonorous and passionate.
They are sometimes warm-blooded, always big-hearted,
and, more than anywhere else, they know how to
combine a taste for life with a taste for others.
I’m a thousand years old,
a historic trading centre,
always at the forefront,
by nature and conviction.
The key players in the major changes taking place in our
society are at home here.
